   Studying Modern Language at UASD Might Help Students to Get Better Jobs.  

UASD modern language students have a choice of fields to work in. They can get a job as a receptionist in a call center. This centers always need English speakers for calling people to offer products. As a translator is also an attractive job. Such people are employed by some companies for translating foreign speaker´s conversations, conferences, and speeches. Being a tourist guide is another option and it is a fun job. Moreover, in this job you can build you great interpersonal relationships; They are required in the Hotels for facilitating the communication with foreign visitors. Another area where you can work is as a translator of documents, or books. People who do it earn a lot of money. If you are a good author, you can write interesting books for yourself; this is a good way to earn money, and transmit knowledge. Furthermore, you can work in education as a professor. you may help others people in this way. Teaching is one of the best job in the country. Teachers have a good salary and they live in the middle class of society. In addition to that, you would have the satisfaction of helping many people to think, act, and even live in a better way. If you have the opportunity to live in a foreign country, you might have the option to teach your own language in any institute where you live. An example of that is Stephen Garrat´s case. He is a b British professor who studied Russian, then he applied to a job in Russia as an English professor. He gat the job, and now he is teaching at school in Russia.above of all, you can also create your own job. Some English teachers establishes their own English Institute and they work as directors. It is like having your own little company. Whatever career you follow, in addition to learning English, it will often add to success, because being fluent in a foreign language improves other skill in other professions.

     Reflexion chapter 6    In this paragraph, I want to talk about some barriers that are involved in Dominicans language learners which I have observed through my learning experience. The first one I want to mention is discipline. Majority d Dominican students are not appropriately educated in the solve problem way, and this make the process of any goal turn in a difficult issue, because they cannot organize their time and space, neither control those emotions that affect the learning process. Another one, is their ideologies about some myths emerged into society such as age. Many people think that, because that older people has lost the ability to learn a 2L yet, but it is not true.
